Reisdetails van Mijn eerste reis
Omschrijving:
Hallo allemaal,
Hier kunnen jullie binnenkort mijn belevenissen uit Gambia volgen. 23 Augustus begint het avontuur. Mijn bedoeling is om daar 2 jaar te wonen en te werken. Ik ga werken voor VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) en dat is een internationale ontwikkelingsorganisatie die structurele hulp biedt in ontwikkelingslanden.
In Gambia krijgen we eerst een in-country-training om te aclimatiseren, mandinka (een afrikaanse taal) te leren en een aantal dingen te regelen en te leren over Gambia. Daarna worden we (11 personen) verdeeld over verschillende regio's in Gambia om leerkrachten van verschillende scholen te begeleiden om de kwaliteit van het onderwijs te verbeteren. Ik kom in meest afgelegen regio te wonen, ergens bij Bassa. In deze regio is geen elektrisch en geen stromend water....het wordt vast even wennen voor mij! Wel is er in Bassa een internetcafe dat met m.b.v. een aggregator werkende computers heeft. Ik zal t.z.t. proberen regelmatig daar naartoe te komen om over mijn bezigheden te kunnen schrijven. Een geweldige nieuwe uitdaging waar ik veel zin in heb! Ik ben er al bijna klaar voor....

Reisdetails van Mijn eerste reis
Omschrijving:
Hallo allemaal,
Hier kunnen jullie binnenkort mijn belevenissen uit Gambia volgen. 23 Augustus begint het avontuur. Mijn bedoeling is om daar 2 jaar te wonen en te werken. Ik ga werken voor VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) en dat is een internationale ontwikkelingsorganisatie die structurele hulp biedt in ontwikkelingslanden.
In Gambia krijgen we eerst een in-country-training om te aclimatiseren, mandinka (een afrikaanse taal) te leren en een aantal dingen te regelen en te leren over Gambia. Daarna worden we (11 personen) verdeeld over verschillende regio's in Gambia om leerkrachten van verschillende scholen te begeleiden om de kwaliteit van het onderwijs te verbeteren. Ik kom in meest afgelegen regio te wonen, ergens bij Bassa. In deze regio is geen elektrisch en geen stromend water....het wordt vast even wennen voor mij! Wel is er in Bassa een internetcafe dat met m.b.v. een aggregator werkende computers heeft. Ik zal t.z.t. proberen regelmatig daar naartoe te komen om over mijn bezigheden te kunnen schrijven. Een geweldige nieuwe uitdaging waar ik veel zin in heb! Ik ben er al bijna klaar voor....

Reisdetails van Mijn eerste reis
Omschrijving:
Hallo allemaal,
Hier kunnen jullie binnenkort mijn belevenissen uit Gambia volgen. 23 Augustus begint het avontuur. Mijn bedoeling is om daar 2 jaar te wonen en te werken. Ik ga werken voor VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) en dat is een internationale ontwikkelingsorganisatie die structurele hulp biedt in ontwikkelingslanden.
In Gambia krijgen we eerst een in-country-training om te aclimatiseren, mandinka (een afrikaanse taal) te leren en een aantal dingen te regelen en te leren over Gambia. Daarna worden we (11 personen) verdeeld over verschillende regio's in Gambia om leerkrachten van verschillende scholen te begeleiden om de kwaliteit van het onderwijs te verbeteren. Ik kom in meest afgelegen regio te wonen, ergens bij Bassa. In deze regio is geen elektrisch en geen stromend water....het wordt vast even wennen voor mij! Wel is er in Bassa een internetcafe dat met m.b.v. een aggregator werkende computers heeft. Ik zal t.z.t. proberen regelmatig daar naartoe te komen om over mijn bezigheden te kunnen schrijven. Een geweldige nieuwe uitdaging waar ik veel zin in heb! Ik ben er al bijna klaar voor....

Reisdetails van Mijn eerste reis
Omschrijving:
Hallo allemaal,
Hier kunnen jullie binnenkort mijn belevenissen uit Gambia volgen. 23 Augustus begint het avontuur. Mijn bedoeling is om daar 2 jaar te wonen en te werken. Ik ga werken voor VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) en dat is een internationale ontwikkelingsorganisatie die structurele hulp biedt in ontwikkelingslanden.
In Gambia krijgen we eerst een in-country-training om te aclimatiseren, mandinka (een afrikaanse taal) te leren en een aantal dingen te regelen en te leren over Gambia. Daarna worden we (11 personen) verdeeld over verschillende regio's in Gambia om leerkrachten van verschillende scholen te begeleiden om de kwaliteit van het onderwijs te verbeteren. Ik kom in meest afgelegen regio te wonen, ergens bij Bassa. In deze regio is geen elektrisch en geen stromend water....het wordt vast even wennen voor mij! Wel is er in Bassa een internetcafe dat met m.b.v. een aggregator werkende computers heeft. Ik zal t.z.t. proberen regelmatig daar naartoe te komen om over mijn bezigheden te kunnen schrijven. Een geweldige nieuwe uitdaging waar ik veel zin in heb! Ik ben er al bijna klaar voor....

Hier kunnen jullie binnenkort mijn belevenissen uit Gambia volgen. 23 Augustus begint het avontuur. Mijn bedoeling is om daar 2 jaar te wonen en te werken. Ik ga werken voor VSO (Voluntary Service Overseas) en dat is een internationale ontwikkelingsorganisatie die structurele hulp biedt in ontwikkelingslanden.
In Gambia krijgen we eerst een in-country-training om te aclimatiseren, mandinka (een afrikaanse taal) te leren en een aantal dingen te regelen en te leren over Gambia. Daarna worden we (11 personen) verdeeld over verschillende regio's in Gambia om leerkrachten van verschillende scholen te begeleiden om de kwaliteit van het onderwijs te verbeteren. Ik kom in meest afgelegen regio te wonen, ergens bij Bassa. In deze regio is geen elektrisch en geen stromend water....het wordt vast even wennen voor mij! Wel is er in Bassa een internetcafe dat met m.b.v. een aggregator werkende computers heeft. Ik zal t.z.t. proberen regelmatig daar naartoe te komen om over mijn bezigheden te kunnen schrijven. Een geweldige nieuwe uitdaging waar ik veel zin in heb! Ik ben er al bijna klaar voor....
